Oh what irony!

While checking my work email today for the much anticipated response to my hardship request, I found this in my inbox:

Dear Tina A. Wiker, Congratulations on your 10 Year anniversary with XXXXX! Thank you for your dedication and contributions to our company. We are pleased to honor you with an award in recognition of this accomplishment.


Just for the fun of it I ordered another charm, complete with simulated emeralds, to match my "beloved" 5-year charm. The choices were slim: a set of $30 steak knives, a $20 pair of portable speakers, lots of men's watches, a stainless steel ring with an ittty, bitty diamond, etc. Now, let's see if it actually shows up!
